Since it’s All Souls’ Day, watching scary films will always be included for the day’s itinerary. Every year during the Halloween season, my family and I watch scary movies to I don’t know… scare ourselves to have a difficult time sleeping? I have already taken a Benadryl to help me sleep easily. Lol. I don’t want to be up all night thinking about monsters, white ladies, demons and other creepy creatures.

I have just seen The Devil Inside. I have always been trying to avoid watching this film because I have never really been a huge fan of watching movies about demons. Also, Paranormal Activity 1 scared the shit out of me. I wasn’t able to sleep well for 2 weeks after watching that movie. I kept waking up at 3am for consecutive nights and dreamt about demons which made me more paranoid about exorcisms. Putting the television on every night for 2 weeks helped a lot. Good thing that The Simpsons was one side-splitting, amusing series. It was on every night for 14 days.

As for the movie, all I can say is that… Paranormal Activity will always be the scariest, spine-chilling, hair-rising movie I have seen in my life. The Devil Inside isn’t so bad either but nothing beats PA. Period.

I just hope what happened to me after watching Paranormal Activity won’t happen to me tonight or ever. It sucks having to think about things that scare the hell out of me before hitting the sack.

I  may not be myself right now because of some hormonal imbalance thing or what everyone calls “PMS” (Pre-menstrual Syndrome) or whatever this is, that happens to any girl at that certain time of the month, but why can’t everyone just be understanding and considerate towards me. Sure, some may think this isn’t supposed to be an excuse to act all so snobby, quiet, selfish or whatever unaccepted behavior I might be doing right now but people have no right to tell me what to do. Talk to me nicely. Is that really hard to do?

Yeah sure, family comes first to me but why did I even want to be here if I am not even wanted? I made the fucking wrong decision to be here. So so so stupid of me! Obviously, I’m mad right now but I can’t really act the way I want to ’cause even if I have been acting too bitchy all day, I still have morals. For the person who told me that I shouldn’t have stayed here for this fucking Halloweekend, here’s my message for you :

“FUCK YOU. That’s all I can say. I can’t really talk to you the way I want to ’cause I don’t want to cause any trouble. But seriously though, are you that of a hypocrite? I’ve always been trying to tolerate your behavior whenever you experience the same thing that’s been happening to me recently. Can’t you at least appreciate the fact that I’m trying to hang with you guys even when I’m not in the mood? FUCK YOU sums up the things I want to tell you but unfortunately for me, I don’t even have the balls to tell you this in person. I sincerely apologize for not having the decency to confront you, biatch.”

This entry might be written out of anger but I don’t really care. As what I have just said, I’m not myself right now.

3 Idiots is an Indian film about three guys that are best of friends studying at Imperial College of Engineering. Farhan, Rancho and Raju are inseparable. They are the best of friends who does everything together. The story of their friendship touches the hearts of its audiences. The film illustrates how friends are important to everyone’s lives. They are always present when one experiences sadness and whenever one feels helpless. The movie is about their quests throughout college. 3 Idiots is about learning. The film provides significant lessons on life.

The concept “all is well” is a very optimist approach to all obstacles and challenges the three guys face. The optimistic approach attracts good omen, thus making all their problems solvable. Farhan, Rancho and Raju are always in trouble because of their quirkiness and free-will spirit. They have almost been expelled from their school several times but are able to overcome and find solutions to their issues. The film also teaches about passion. Passion leads to excellence and success. Doing something what people are passionate about will provide happiness, success and dedication. A person will not have to work a day in his/her life if he/she loves what he/she is doing. Rancho is able to illustrate passion effectively in the film. The film ends by revealing how Rancho became one of the world’s best scientists. He even makes his friends pursue what they love doing. Because of Rancho, Raju and Farhan becomes successful in their lives and careers. The film also teaches that life is important. Life is a gift to humankind and one must cherish it by living for happiness.

One scene in the movie is when Raju, one of the characters in 3 Idiots, attempted to commit suicide. Fortunately, he survived from jumping off a building. The reason for his attempt is because of emotional and mental stress. Raju is being pressured by his school and family to do well in school. When he found out that he is going to be expelled from one of the best universities in India, he could not accept the news and so he decided to jump off the building and die, instead of facing his problems and try to find solutions to resolve them.

The relationship between Raju, Farhan and Rancho lasted for a long time because of having a strong foundation. The three have been friends since college. Time and distance are not factors that hinder nor conflict their relationship. Openness, trust and equality helped establish their relationship. Without those three characteristics, Raju, Farhan and Rancho would not have the strong relationship they have.

The film contains numerous life lessons. Fear is considered as bad element in one’s life. Being scared of something hinders someone from doing something they would dare try. Fear in the movie is not good for a student. Rancho is an example of a fearless man. He does everything he wants to do and does not let anyone or anything prevent him from doing what he wants and loves. Rancho is a selfless, courageous man who follows his heart and helps others realize their dreams and what they truly want in life.

This movie can make you laugh and cry. Too many life lessons are illustrated. Definitely a must watch movie!

They come in different colors and designs. They are not only fun and cute, they will also protect you from getting Leptospirosis. So try to keep your feet dry and cozy this rainy season!

So why take themirthfulmuse as a domain name? I came up with the name because I truly am a happy girl. I am happy with how my life falls into place. I have thought about what my username would be for hours and that was what I ended up with. I’ve typed in so many usernames but even “unicornsandrainbows” and “waitingforsunshine” have already been taken. I’ve been to sites such as Wordoid.com and online-generator.com to help me come up with my domain name, but nothing helped. Choosing the perfect blog name is just too difficult.
